This policy explains what information J24 Men ("we", "us") collects when you visit our website or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
When you join our list, place an order, or contact us, we collect what you give us:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your shipping and billing address
- Your order details and any messages you send us
- Your barber partner details, if you apply to the barber program
When you browse the site, we automatically collect basic technical information such as your device type, browser, approximate location from your IP address, and the pages you visit.
Payment information
Payments are handled by our payment processors: Stripe for card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Paystack for card, bank transfer and USSD payments in Nigeria. Your full card number goes directly to the processor and is never stored on our servers. We receive only a confirmation, the last four digits of your card and the payment amount.
How we use your information
- To process, ship and track your orders
- To reply to your questions and handle returns
- To send launch updates and offers, if you've joined our list
- To show prices in your local currency and remember your cart
- To understand how the site is used and improve it
- To prevent fraud and meet our legal and tax obligations
Cookies and similar tools
We store small pieces of information in your browser to remember your cart and currency choice. We may also use analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, to measure visits and the results of our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop will still work, but your cart may not be remembered.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:
- Payment processing (Stripe and Paystack)
- Shipping carriers and label services (such as USPS, UPS, Royal Mail, DHL and local Nigerian couriers)
- Email and website hosting providers (such as Google and Cloudflare)
- Analytics and advertising providers, as described above
- Authorities, when the law requires it
Marketing emails
We'll only email you about J24 Men. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you by email at any time. Order and shipping emails will still be sent while you have an open order.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to seven years. We keep list and account information until you ask us to delete it or unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for marketing. You have these rights under the privacy laws that apply where you live, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act, UK GDPR and the privacy laws of California and other US states, and we will not treat you differently for using them. Email us to make a request; we may need to confirm your identity first.
Children
Our products and site are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use secure (HTTPS) connections and trusted providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Major changes will be announced on the site or by email.
